A music video collaboration we created for a friend. The Janet Jackson vs Justin Timberlake mashup was created by the very talented Royal Sapien. This was the first time shooting with my new Canon T2i which allowed me to do non-manipulated slow motion.

You do some amazing work. Are the “shadows” really shadows? Or are they dark digital images of the actual video? Could you make a dark digital “shadow” of the video, then run it in the background behind the video at slightly off time? It might be visually interesting to have them slightly out of synch. Or it might be plain annoying!

Those are just their natural shadows on the background. I though about doing something where i project their image onto themselves as they dance. It would almost be a recursive image of yourself, on yourself. It would have been to difficult to do on the spot for this shoot though since that would take a lot of work to setup the projector just right.
