Who Needs Cameras When You Have Code

Not exactly breaking news, but I am loving the movement behind the Radiohead – House of Cards video. In a nutshell, some people figured out how to record a video using lasers to scan the actors and scenery, and then translated that into raw data that could then be manipulated in real time. In other words, a music video that you can control and rotate around. I think I immediately took a liking to this concept because it is a perfect example of how, even if you are focused on technology, and coding, it can still be translated into a legitimate video format. Not only can it be a video, but it one-uped the industry by making it truly interactive.
